Sinopsis

Ann Lowe ends her engagement with Will Gale at the party due to a disagreement with his family. In an unexpected turn, Elsa Cook, their elderly neighbor, hands Ann a check for 180 million on the spot and proposes that she marry her grandson, Vernon Luna. Coerced by Elsa, Ann reluctantly agrees, oblivious to the fact that Vernon is the wealthiest man in the city. When his true identity is revealed, Ann, in a fit of anger, seeks a divorce.
