Sinopsis

Alex Tudor, second prince of Draxon, earns great merit guarding the frontier—but his own family frames him, forcing him into exile through a political marriage to Northam. On the journey, an assassination attempt is thwarted by Northam's princess, Winona Raven, whose uncle schemes to usurp her ailing father's throne. After careful consideration, Winona proposes an alliance: if Alex helps secure her succession, she will aid him in exacting revenge on Draxon.
